Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is racing against time to be ready to represent the Moroccan national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco, according to French press reports.

Nasser Larguet, the technical director in Saudi Arabia and close to Hakimi, revealed in a statement to RMC Sport that the Paris Saint-Germain full-back is making double efforts to recover in time. He said the Moroccan star "undergoes six hours of rehabilitation sessions daily" to be ready to lead the "Atlas Lions" in this major continental event.

Moroccan fans are eagerly awaiting Hakimi's return, especially with the national team's first matches in the tournament approaching. They will begin their campaign against the Comoros on December 21, then face Mali on the 26th, and conclude the group stage with a match against Zambia on December 29.
