Despite suffering a shoulder injury at the start of the season, Bellingham made a remarkable recovery and played in most of the matches, delivering crucial performances that culminated in scoring 4 goals in his last 7 starts, including important goals against Juventus, Elche, and Barcelona.

Alonso's recent switch to a 4-3-1-2 formation in the match against Olympiacos has raised questions about the team's setup, especially since the new system might exclude the Turkish player Arda Güler from the starting lineup—unless he plays alongside Tchouaméni and Valverde. This could potentially leave Camavinga out of consideration in favor of a more disciplined midfield trio.
