Sports journalist Gamal El-Ghandour revealed, citing a source within Al Ahly club, that the club's management is preparing to start renewing the contracts of some of the team's players.
Al Ahly's management is seeking to renew the contracts of Mustafa Shobeir, Taher Mohamed Taher, Ashraf Ben Sharqi, and Mohamed Hany, all of which expire in 2027.
Al-Ghandour explained during his statements on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the decision by Al-Ahly comes to avoid repeating the scenario of Aliou Dieng, who entered the final year of his contract before negotiations began, which caused complications during the renewal process or with external offers.
Al-Ghandour confirmed that the management wishes to resolve this matter early to ensure the team's stability and maintain its core structure.
