Barcelona Trio Nears Return to Starting Lineup
Friday 28-11-2025
The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that Barcelona's attacking trio consisting of Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal is facing a great opportunity to appear together again in the starting lineup during the match against Alavés, after being absent for six months since the last time they played together at the start of an official match.

According to the newspaper, the trio has not started any match together since the last round of the previous league season against Athletic Bilbao, a match that ended with Barcelona winning 3-0, with the Polish striker scoring a brace. During the current season, consecutive injuries prevented coach Hans Flick from relying on this attacking line that scored 94 out of the 174 goals the team scored last season.

The newspaper pointed out that Lewandowski missed the start of the season due to a muscle injury, while pelvic pain kept Lamine Yamal out of four matches, before Raphinha suffered a muscle injury that lasted several weeks. Lewandowski also faced muscle problems again, coinciding with the continuous absences of Lamine Yamal.

The newspaper clarified that Flick depended on Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal in the last two matches against Athletic Bilbao and Chelsea, while Raphinha participated as a substitute but showed strong performances, especially in the last match, making him a candidate to return to the starting lineup against Alavés, especially after the team failed to score for the first time this season during their match in London.

The report confirmed that the return of the trio represents an important boost for Barcelona, given their physical readiness and gradual improvement in their condition with Raphinha returning to his level.
