Yess Torop, the head coach of Al Ahly, criticized the absence of video technology during the group stage of the Africa Champions League.

Al Ahly will face Morocco's Royal Army Club tomorrow, Friday, in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Torop said at the pre-match press conference: "In recent matches, I have seen a lot of poor performances. We have great respect for all our opponents, but as I said before, we came with respect for the opponent for only one reason, which is to secure the second win in this group."

He added: "Regarding video technology, I believe it is an extremely important matter, and I cannot understand why it is not being implemented in the group stages."

He continued: "I believe that video technology is a very vital part of football, as it ensures that video technology will resolve those controversial situations."

He added: "Unfortunately, it is not part of the group stage, but this is the reality and we have to deal with it."

Torop then spoke about the pressure on the Royal Army to win, saying: "Pressure on the Royal Army to win? I am more concerned about the pressure on my team, which is expected to win every match they play."

He concluded: "Big matches come with greater pressure, and pressure gives us the motivation to win in such games. Therefore, we are ready to handle the pressure to achieve victory in tomorrow's match."
