The Portuguese under-17 national team crowned themselves World Cup champions after defeating their Austrian counterparts 1-0 in the match held at Khalifa International Stadium.

The only goal of the match came from Anesio in the 32nd minute, assisted by Dorte Kona.

The Portuguese national team won the title for the first time in its history.

It is worth noting that the Italian national team secured third place after defeating their Brazilian counterparts 4-2 in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw.
