Zamalek Club management has decided to refer Al-Mahdi Suleiman, the first team's goalkeeper, for investigation due to his repeated absences from training sessions recently without prior permission.

According to sources within the club, the management has decided to impose a financial penalty on the goalkeeper amounting to 15% of his annual contract value, due to his absence from multiple training sessions and preparation camps without valid reasons. The management considered this a violation warranting punishment.

Mahdi Suleiman is experiencing a state of frustration due to his complete absence from participating in matches since joining Zamalek during last summer’s transfer window. According to reports, this has led him to seriously consider leaving during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The veteran goalkeeper has only played a few minutes with the team this season, as the coaching staff relies on the duo Mohamed Sobhi and Mohamed Awad for the goalkeeper position. Sources indicate that the player's future at the White Castle has become uncertain, pending the outcome of the upcoming investigations.
