Egyptian media reported that the management of Pyramids Club has categorically denied the rumors about terminating the contract of the team's player Ramadan Sobhi due to his legal issues.

A club official confirmed that Sobhi is still under a valid contract, emphasizing that the club stands by its player and supports him both legally and morally in facing the International Sports Court (CAS) decision to suspend him for four years due to doping sample manipulation, in addition to the forgery case currently before the Egyptian judiciary.

Egyptian media are closely following the developments of the situation, describing the suspension decision as potentially marking the effective end of the player's football career. They are also covering his ongoing trial sessions in the forgery case, for which a decision has been made to continue his detention.

Although the contract includes a clause that grants the club the right to terminate it in the event of final rulings, Pyramids has not yet exercised this clause, affirming the continuation of the contract and its confidence in the legal procedures being taken to appeal the rulings issued against the player.
