The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Danish coach Jes Thorup, the head coach of Al Ahly, has decided to include Emam Ashour, the Red Devils' star, among the substitutes in the match against Raja Club Athletic in the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly will play a match against Morocco's Royal Army tomorrow, Friday, as part of the second round of the group stage in the CAF Champions League.
The newspaper added that Torop decided to gradually involve the player in matches until he fully recovers, in order to properly regain his physical and technical fitness and secure a spot in the starting lineup.
She added that Al-Ahly's technical staff aims to keep Ashour as a substitute in the match, considering him a valuable asset to capitalize on his good morale after scoring in the previous game against Algeria's JS Kabylie.
