Immediate Decision by Jesus for Al-Nassr Players During the Break
Saturday 29-11-2025
The technical staff of Saudi club Al-Nassr, led by Portuguese coach Jesus, decided to grant the players a nine-day rest period following their impressive 4-0 victory over Istiklol Dushanbe in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the team will begin a new training program after the holiday, which includes an external camp in Abu Dhabi, in preparation for the upcoming local and continental competitions.

The camp is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 11, during which Jesus will aim to enhance physical and technical readiness before resuming the sports season after the break.

A number of Al-Nassr players will be absent from the external training camp, as six players—Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Raghd Al-Najjar, Abdulilah Al-Amri, Nawaf Boushel, Ayman Yahya, and Abdullah Al-Khaibari—are preparing to join the Saudi national team participating in the Arab Cup in Doha.

The coaching staff is expected to focus during the training camp on testing some alternative players and enhancing tactical cohesion before the matches resume, especially given the absence of several international players.

Yesterday, Al-Nassr secured their qualification to the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League 2 by topping Group D with a perfect score of 15 points, allowing the team to continue their continental journey with great confidence.
