Real Madrid overturned a one-goal deficit to secure a big 4-3 victory over Olympiacos in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage, at the Karaiskakis Stadium.

The home team, Olympiacos, opened the scoring early through Siqueira Lima in the 9th minute, then Kylian Mbappé scored the equalizer for Real Madrid assisted by Vinícius in the 22nd minute.

In the 24th minute, Kylian Mbappé returned and scored a second goal for Real Madrid, assisted by Arda Güler. Then, in the 29th minute, Kylian Mbappé scored a third goal for the royal team, assisted by Camavinga.

In the 52nd minute, Mehdi Taremi reduced the deficit with a header assisted by Hezi, while Kylian Mbappé scored a fourth goal for Real Madrid from a Vinícius assist in the 60th minute. Ayoub El Kaabi then scored a third goal for Olympiacos in the 81st minute.

Real Madrid increased their tally to 12 points, placing them in fifth position, while Olympiacos remained stuck at two points in 33rd place.
