Journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed that Al Ahly star Hussein El Shahat has recovered from the recent hamstring injury he sustained.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Hussein El Shahat has fully recovered from his hamstring injury and is now ready to participate in the matches."
Al Ahly will face their counterpart, Wydad Athletic Club, next Friday in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly currently leads their group in the Champions League with 3 points.
