Hussein Abdulghani, the former captain of Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr, made a striking statement in which he delivered a strong message to Al-Ahli player Saleh Abu Al-Shamat regarding his recent performance in matches.

Abdelghani's statements came following Abu Al-Shamat's participation in the match against Sharjah, which Al-Ahli lost 1-0 in the fifth round of the West Zone in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Through the program "Nadina," Abdelghani called on the young player to maintain the high level of performance he has been showing, emphasizing that consistency in performance is what makes the difference for top players on the pitch.

The retired star pointed out that the fans have high expectations for Abu Al-Shamat, emphasizing that he has the capabilities to deliver better and stronger performances in every match he plays, whether with Al-Ahly or the national team.

Abdelghani added that Abu Al-Shamat's key position in the national team and Al-Ahli Jeddah imposes double the responsibility on him, and that what he has achieved in the past is not enough; rather, he must continue working to meet the fans' aspirations.

Abu Al-Shamat has shown a strong presence this season, having participated in 16 matches across all competitions with Al-Ahli, during which he scored one goal and provided one assist, affirming his technical value in the Green team's lineup.
