Colombian media reports have revealed that South Korean club Suwon is demanding $3 million for the transfer of their Syrian star Pablo Sabbagh to Egypt's Al Ahly during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Colombian journalist Mariano Olsen said on the "X" platform that Al Ahly wants to sign Pablo Sabbagh for their squad.

He added: "The attacker's registration belongs to the South Korean club Suwon, which has set his price at 3 million US dollars. Negotiations have begun, although no official offer has been made yet."

The media personality Ibrahim Abdel Jawad revealed on On Sport channel that Al Ahly is interested in signing the player.

Ibrahim Abdel Jawad said on the program "On Field" on the "On Sport" channel: "Al Ahly is seeking to sign a Syrian-Palestinian striker named Pablo Sabbagh, who plays for a Korean club and has scored 17 goals and provided 2 assists in 33 matches this season."

He added: "There is one point that separates Al Ahly from signing Pablo Sabbagh, and they are currently working on it, which is to obtain a Palestinian passport for this player in order to consider him a local player due to the lack of space in the foreign players' list."

He continued: "Al Ahly succeeded in obtaining a Palestinian passport for Wissam Abu Ali, the former team striker, and registered him as a local player. This is what they are currently trying to do with Pablo Sabbagh, and if they succeed, consider that Al Ahly has officially signed the player."
