Koundé Records a Negative Mark with Barcelona

Barcelona suffered a heavy blow in the first half against Chelsea in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, after Koundé scored an own goal, giving the London team a 1-0 lead before halftime.

The goal came as a result of a defensive misjudgment by Konaté, continuing a series of unfortunate negative statistics with Barcelona. Statistics show that the French defender has scored three own goals since joining the club in the 2022/2023 season, the highest number for any Barcelona player during that period.

Statistics also showed that these own goals occurred over 158 matches played by Kondé with the Catalan team, making him the player with the worst record of own goals since his arrival.
