Ferreira Files Complaint Against Zamalek at FIFA
A source close to Yannick Ferreira, the former head coach of Zamalek, told Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper that the Belgian coach decided to file a complaint against Zamalek with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) due to the club's failure to pay his overdue dues.
According to the newspaper's sources, Ferreira gave Zamalek 10 days to respond to his letter sent during this period, urging the prompt payment of his dues before taking any escalatory measures, but Zamalek delayed in meeting the deadline.
The newspaper added that Ferreira's overdue dues amount to $440,000.
Zamalek dismissed Yannick Ferreira due to the poor results of the white team's performance and appointed Ahmed Abdel-Raouf as interim head coach until a new coach is contracted.
