Paraguayan press reports, quoting journalist Auriel Yougt, indicate that Manchester United may agree to loan out its young defender Diego Leon during the upcoming January transfer window.

The 19-year-old Paraguayan player, who joined the "Red Devils" from Cerro Porteño, is seeking more regular playing opportunities to develop his level.

The same sources pointed out that Leon welcomes the chance to go out on loan, as he understands the importance of continuous playing minutes in his football career. It is believed that the club is looking for a suitable destination to secure this opportunity for the player, and a loan to one of the clubs affiliated with the "Enyoos" group, which holds a stake in Manchester United, could be an option—namely French club Nice and Swiss club Lausanne.

This step is part of the club's strategy to develop its young talents by giving them the chance to play at a high level before fully integrating them into the first team.
