Sadio Mané, Al-Nassr winger and captain of the Senegal national team, explained that his time at Liverpool was like his football home and comfort zone, emphasizing that he had won almost everything before seeking a new challenge.

Mané told the British network "Liverpool Echo" that his arrival at the English club came after a long journey full of challenges, and that he, along with his teammates and coaches, contributed to building a team that has become one of Europe's top sides, achieving great successes both domestically and continentally.

Mané added that leaving Liverpool was not easy at all; he felt a sense of belonging and security there. However, he felt the need to explore new experiences, so he first moved to Bayern Munich, where he found a different challenge and an opportunity to learn and grow.

Regarding his transfer to Al-Nassr, Mané mentioned that the Saudi offer was distinctive and different, with an ambitious project to build a strong league and host major events, which motivated him to accept the challenge and join the team in the summer of 2023 for 30 million euros.

He explained that since joining Al-Nassr, he has played 108 matches, scored 41 goals, and provided 31 assists, achieving his first title with the team in the 2023 Arab Club Championship after a 2-1 victory over Al-Hilal, despite not having won any other domestic or continental titles so far.

Mané also revealed the best teammates of his career, choosing from Liverpool players Coutinho, Firmino, and Virgil van Dijk, and from outside the club Kalidou Koulibaly and Cristiano Ronaldo, praising Ronaldo's professionalism and his exceptional impact on his teammates at Al-Nassr.
