Mbappé Receives the Pichichi Award for Last Season
Tuesday 25-11-2025
Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid star, received the "Pichichi" award from the director of Marca newspaper, Juan Ignacio Gallardo, after finishing last season as the top scorer in La Liga with 31 goals, in his first season with the royal team.

Although Real Madrid went through a difficult season without winning any major titles – neither the league, the Champions League, nor the King’s Cup – Mbappé delivered an outstanding individual performance, especially in the second half of the season, decisively securing the award.

Mbappé said during the reception: "I thank Marca for this honor, and I thank Real Madrid and my teammates, without whom this would not have been possible. It is a great honor, and I hope to win more."

Mbappé’s achievement did not stop there; the Frenchman scored his 31 goals in only 34 matches, averaging nearly a goal per game, and he also won the European Golden Shoe award, which he received on October 31 last year.

Mbappé ended last season with 44 goals in 59 matches across all competitions.
