Estevão Faces His Dream Team with Chelsea
Monday 24-11-2025
The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the Brazilian winger Estevão, the current star of Chelsea, will face his dream team Barcelona this Tuesday in the highly anticipated European match.

The newspaper explained that the 18-year-old player, known as "Messieninho" due to his playing style resembling Lionel Messi, transferred to Chelsea last summer from Palmeiras. He quickly became one of the team's standout stars in his first season. So far, Estevão has played in 16 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing one assist. He has also become an international player with the Brazilian national team under the leadership of Carlo Ancelotti.

Mundo Deportivo newspaper pointed out that the player had expressed his dream of wearing the Barcelona jersey two years ago, saying: "One of my biggest dreams is to play for Barcelona. I watch almost all of their matches, and I am a fan of the club. I have great admiration for all its players."

The player added about the possibility of being on the same team as Lamin Yamal in the future: "Lamin has a lot of talent. I've watched several of his matches, and who knows, we might play together someday."

The newspaper mentioned that Barcelona had previously shown interest in the Brazilian player and that his father visited the club's facilities in Sant Joan Despí. However, Palmeiras' financial demands of 34 million euros plus 27 million in variables, along with the fact that Lamine Yamal already occupies his position, prevented the deal from being completed.

This match is considered an opportunity for Estévao to face the team he dreamed of playing for, and he is now one of Chelsea's brightest stars despite his young age, with a promising start to his first season in the Premier League and the Champions League.
