Al Hilal Enters a Long Break After Victory Over Al Fateh in the Saudi League
Al Hilal secured their last match in the Saudi League before the longest break of the season by defeating Al-Fateh, as they prepare for their players to join the Saudi national team for the Arab Cup in Qatar.
The team will be away from matches for 26 days and will face Al-Taawoun in the tenth round on December 19 in the city of Buraidah, after the local league's break period ends.
Before joining the national team camp, Al Hilal will play two matches: the first against Iraqi Police in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League, and the second against Al Fateh in the King’s Cup quarterfinals.
Al Hilal defeated Al Fateh 2-1, scoring the second goal from a penalty in the 88th minute, despite Nasser Al-Dosari being sent off in the 79th minute. This marked the team's seventh win out of the nine league matches they have played so far.
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi of Al Hilal acknowledged that there were some mistakes during the match, emphasizing that the technical staff will work on correcting them to ensure improved performance in upcoming games.
Despite some criticism from fans regarding the technical level, supporters agreed on the importance of the team continuing to secure victories, hoping that the break period would help injured players recover and improve the leader's technical performance.
