Al-Qadsiah Submits Official Offer to Sign Aliou Dieng

According to press reports, Saudi club Al-Qadsiah has submitted an official offer to the management of Egypt's Al-Ahly worth $650,000 to sign Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng during the upcoming winter transfer window, as the club aims to strengthen its squad with strong players in midfield.

According to Al-Ahram newspaper, Al Ahly is facing difficulties in renewing Diang's contract, which expires at the end of the current season. The club has offered $1.8 million annually to keep the player, but the Malian international insists on receiving $2.5 million to agree to the renewal.

Al Ahly's management considers Diang's financial demands to be excessive, which has prompted them to explore the possibility of selling him in the upcoming January transfer window. This is especially important because failing to reach an agreement would mean he leaves for free at the end of the season, something the club aims to avoid by benefiting financially from his potential transfer.

It is worth mentioning that Diang played last season on loan at the Saudi club Al-Kholood before returning to Al-Ahli at the beginning of the current season. His future remains open, with the possibility of either staying or leaving in the winter transfer window, depending on ongoing negotiations.
