Revealing Iraq's Squad for the Arab Cup
Australian Graham Arnold, head coach of the Iraqi national team, announced the official squad of the Lions of Mesopotamia that will participate in the Arab Cup Qatar 25, as part of the ongoing preparations for the tournament.
Iraq will compete in Group B of the tournament, alongside the Algerian national team, as well as the winners of the playoff matches between Bahrain and Djibouti, and Sudan and Lebanon.
Goalkeepers: Jalal Hassan, Ahmed Basel, Fahad Talib.
Defenders: Ahmed Yahya, Maytham Jabbar, Akam Hashim, Manaf Younis, Saad Natiq, Mustafa Saadoun, Ahmed Mkenzi, Amir Sabah.
Midfielders: Karrar Nabil, Ibrahim Bayesh, Sajjad Jassim, Osama Rashid, Marko Faraj, Hassan Abdulkarim, Ali Jassim.
Forwards: Ayman Hussein, Mimi, Mohammed Jawad, Ammar Mohsen.
