Renaissance Berkane kicked off their historic debut in the CAF Champions League in the best possible way, with a convincing 3-0 victory over their Zambian guests, Power Dynamos, in the match held at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane on Saturday evening, as part of the first round of the group stage.

The goals for the Burkan team were scored by Aaron Katipi in the 13th minute plus added time, Munir Shweir in the minute, and Paul Basini in the minute.

The orange team delivered a strong performance that confirmed its readiness to compete in this edition, achieving its best start in the most prestigious continental tournament, in its first official appearance in the Champions League after years of success in the Confederation Cup.

Renaissance Berkane is in Group A alongside the clubs: Egypt's Pyramids, Zambia's Power Dynamos, and Nigeria's Rivers United, which signals a fierce competition for a spot in the knockout stages.
