Al-Qadsiah Club management submitted an official protest to the Saudi Professional League Association against Al-Ahli Jeddah Club following the match between the two teams on Friday evening as part of the ninth round of the Roshn Saudi League, which ended with Al-Ahli winning 2-1 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.

Sports critic Fahd Al-Duraim revealed, via his account on the "X" platform, that Al-Qadsiah's management filed a protest immediately after the match ended, citing what they described as an "administrative and technical" violation according to the competition regulations.

Al-Duraim explained that Al-Qadsia's protest concerns Al-Ahli's failure to comply with a mandatory procedure before and during the match, related to the participation of certain registered players, which Al-Qadsia's management considered a violation warranting review by the league.

The Saudi League Association is expected to review the details of the protest in the coming hours in preparation for issuing an official decision regarding it.
