Al Ahly Withdraws from Signing Hamed Hamdan Due to Financial Exaggerations
Saturday 22-11-2025
The chances of Palestinian player Hamed Hamdan, a midfielder for Petrojet, joining Al Ahly in the upcoming winter transfer window have diminished, despite him being on the list of candidates to strengthen Al Ahly's midfield.

According to what Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper revealed, the technical staff of Al-Ahly is not very enthusiastic about completing the deal, given that the club sees other options as more suitable for the team's midfield in the upcoming period, especially with the possibility of the Malian player Aliou Dieng leaving.

The newspaper pointed out that Petrojet's management is exaggerating its financial demands to release the player, which contributed to Al Ahly withdrawing from the negotiations and prompted them to reconsider their priorities regarding foreign players.

Al Ahly's move comes as part of their efforts to sign a strong foreign midfielder capable of strengthening the team's performance in both domestic and continental competitions during the current season.
