Angolan player Chico Banza, the star of Zamalek, revealed the reason for his delay in returning to Cairo.
Chico Banza said on Instagram: "I would like to clarify to Zamalek fans that my delay in the last 24 hours was due to the death of my brother."
He added: "I had obtained official permission from the club to be absent, and I am surprised by what is being circulated about me on social media."
Chico Banza continued: "I ask Zamalek fans to pray for the soul of my brother, and I thank everyone who stood by my side. See you soon on the field, great fans."
