Zamalek Intends to Market Mohamed El-Sayed in January
The newspaper "Al-Masry Al-Youm," citing a source within Zamalek Club, reported that the club's management has decided to market Mohamed El-Sayed, a team player, in the upcoming January transfer window before his contract expires at the end of the current season, due to the failure to reach an agreement on renewing his contract with the club.
She added that the decision by Zamalek officials came out of fear of a repeat of what happened with Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the former team player, who transferred to Al Ahly for free after his contract expired.
Zamalek is preparing to face ZESCO United of Zambia next Sunday in the first round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The match between Zamalek and Zesco kicks off at 9:00 PM Cairo time.
