Zamalek Seeks the Return of Tarek Hamed to the Team
The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that Zamalek club officials have agreed to hold a meeting with John Edward, the sports director, to discuss the possibility of Tarek Hamed's return to the team.
The newspaper added that Zamalek wishes to sign the player for only 6 months until the end of the season.
It explained that Zamalek officials tend to approve Tarek Hamed joining the team for a period not exceeding half a season, similar to the famous scenario of Ayman Hefny when he was signed by Zamalek in 2021 to play for a short period before retiring at Zamalek.
Currently, 37-year-old Tarek Hamed is not playing for any club, awaiting to play a period at Zamalek before announcing his final retirement.
