Juventus club suffered a major blow in the defensive line after the confirmation of defender Daniele Rugani's injury and his absence from the team for several weeks, according to what was revealed by the "Football Italia" website.

Rugani was injured during training on Tuesday, November 18, before undergoing medical examinations, which confirmed a low-grade muscle tear in the soleus muscle of the right leg.

The club's statement explained that the player will need a treatment and rehabilitation period that may extend for at least three weeks, and possibly longer depending on the muscle's response.

According to the same source, the Italian defender will miss all of Juventus's remaining matches in November, and it is expected that he will also miss the start of December matches. The player aims to return after mid-next month, either between the Bologna and Roma matches or during the last match of 2025 against Pisa.

The report also confirmed that Rugani will officially miss six crucial matches: Fiorentina, Bodø/Glimt, Cagliari, Udinese, Napoli, and Pafos, while his status for the Bologna match remains undecided so far.
