The organizing committee of the 'Globe Soccer' Awards announced the list of players nominated for the Best Player in the Middle East award for 2025, featuring the presence of Al-Nassr's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The list included the Frenchmen Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté from Al-Ittihad club, alongside Salem Al-Dawsari, the winger from Al-Hilal, highlighting the competition among the top stars of the Saudi league this season.

The list also included Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez and English striker Ivan Toney from Al-Ahli Jeddah, distributing the competition between local and international stars who have made a clear impact in Gulf football.

Brazilian Roberto Firmino, the current striker for Qatar's Al-Sadd, who previously helped Al-Ahli Jeddah win the AFC Champions League Elite title in the 2024-25 season, appeared among the prominent nominees.

This nomination crowns Firmino's career, who transferred to Al-Sadd during last summer's transfer window after delivering an outstanding performance at the Asian club level.

The winner of the Best Player in the Middle East award is scheduled to be announced during the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony to be held in Dubai on December 28, amid widespread public anticipation for the surprises of the event.
