Manchester City has officially entered the race to sign young winger Saeed Al-Mulla, the star of German club Köln, after coach Pep Guardiola personally admired him, according to a report published by "CaughtOffside."

City scouts have been keen to follow the 19-year-old player in several Cologne matches over the past weeks, where he demonstrated impressive dribbling skills, creativity in tight spaces, and the ability to play in various attacking positions.

The young player also caught the attention of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, both of which are seeking to acquire the best local talents. However, Cologne is holding on to their player and considers him a key part of their team rebuilding project, especially after extending his contract until 2030.

The German club is also asking for around 40 million euros, which is a high amount but feasible for major European clubs. Despite the growing interest, Al-Mulla is not rushing to leave Cologne, with discussions about his future expected to begin during the winter to carefully assess the next step.

The same source indicates that Molla aligns with Guardiola's vision of dynamic wingers who combine technical precision with the ability to take on individual challenges, while the high transfer fee may make it difficult for Bayern Munich and Dortmund to compete for the player.
