Strong Saudi Offer Puts Egyptian Al Ahly in a Dilemma Over Aliou Dieng
Monday 17-11-2025
The management of Al Ahly SC has received a new notification from the agent of Malian player Aliou Dieng, indicating that an official offer has been made by a club from the Saudi Roshn League to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The "Stad Al-Mahwar" program mentioned that the Saudi offer amounts to about $2 million for purchasing the player's contract, with an annual salary of $2.5 million offered to Dieng.

The Al-Ahly management is carefully examining the details of the offer before making a final decision, especially since Dieng is nearing the free agency period, in addition to being a key player in the midfield.

Al Ahly officials believe that Dieng's departure will only happen for a financial offer that matches his technical value and his important role within the team's lineup in recent seasons.

The Red Club had initiated talks with the player to discuss extending his contract, but Dieng has not given a final approval yet, as he wants to ensure consistent playing time with the team.

Dieng is considered one of the top midfielders in the Egyptian league, and his performance has attracted the interest of several foreign clubs, which makes it more challenging to decide on his continued presence at the Red Castle.
