CAF Reveals Final List for 2025 African Young Player of the Year Award
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the final list of nominees for the 2025 African Young Player of the Year award, featuring the most prominent rising talents who have excelled both continentally and internationally.
The list featured a strong Moroccan presence, including Othman Maama, a player from the Moroccan under-20 national team and winner of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, and Abdullah Wazzan, a player from the Moroccan under-17 national team and winner of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, alongside South African defender Taylon Smith.
The CAF Awards ceremony will be held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on Wednesday, November 19th, starting at 7:00 PM (GMT+1).
