Al-Ittihad Club has intensified the race to sign Murad Hawsawi, the midfielder from Al-Khaleej, after entering into negotiations strongly, coinciding with Al-Hilal's interest in acquiring him during the upcoming winter transfer window in January.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Youm indicated that the competition between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal has become intense, as each club is striving to strengthen their midfield by signing the standout player from the last two seasons.

The management of Al-Khaleej Club clarified that the final decision rests with Murad Hawsawi's desire, emphasizing that his future destination will be determined based on his personal choice, whether to move to Al-Hilal or transfer to Al-Ittihad.

The newspaper revealed that Al-Khaleej has set a price of 100 million riyals as a fundamental condition for selling Hawsawi's contract in the winter transfer market, which complicates the deal for the two clubs interested in signing the player.

Hawsawi, who is 24 years old, joined Al-Khaleej in 2024 on loan from Ahad, before his impressive performance with the team led to a permanent transfer.

The player has participated in 41 matches wearing the Al-Khaleej jersey across various competitions, during which he scored two goals and assisted two others. This has made him a significant target for the top teams in the Roshan League in the upcoming period.
