Ibrahim Diabate on the Verge of Joining Al-Ahly
Former Zamalek star Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed the imminent joining of Ibrahim Diabate, the star of Swedish club GAIS, to Al-Ahly in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Al-Ghandour said on "On Sport FM" radio: "Al-Ahly has completed the agreement to include Ibrahim Diabate, the striker of Swedish club GAIS."
He explained that the likelihood of Diabate joining Al-Ahly is high starting from next January, especially after the recommendation of head coach Jess Thorup to include the player.
Al-Ghandour added, quoting a source inside Al-Ahly, that the club is close to finalizing the deal definitively to strengthen the team's attacking line.
