Zamalek postpones finalizing the list of departures

John Edward, the sporting director of Zamalek Club, along with the club's board of directors headed by Hussein Labib, have decided to postpone finalizing the list of players leaving the first football team during the upcoming winter transfer window until after the anticipated African matches are concluded.

The management's current focus is on the Confederation Cup matches against ZESCO United of Zambia and Kaizer Chiefs. After these matches, the coaching staff situation will be finalized, whether by retaining the current coach or hiring a new head coach, followed by determining the list of players who will leave or be loaned out in January.

In a related context, Belgian Yannick Ferreira, the former head coach of Zamalek, gave the club's management a 10-day deadline before filing an official complaint with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to claim his overdue financial dues.

Ferreira held an initial meeting with the club officials that did not result in any agreement, as the coach insisted on receiving his full dues. He left Cairo three days ago without setting a date for a new meeting, confirming his intention to file an official complaint if the situation is not resolved.

Media personality Gamal El-Ghandour pointed out on the program "Stad El-Mahwar" that the officials of Zamalek ignoring Ferreira's agent prompted the coach to take escalatory measures in his case with the White Castle.
