Dumfries Leaves Netherlands Camp Due to Injury
Monday 17-11-2025
Inter Milan received unsettling news from the Netherlands national team camp after it was confirmed that their right winger, Denzel Dumfries, who missed yesterday's match against Poland in the World Cup qualifiers, is injured.

The Dutch Football Association announced through its official channels that the player will most likely also be unavailable for the match against Lithuania, and therefore Dumfries left the national team camp to return to Inter, where he will undergo treatment and physical rehabilitation to regain the best possible condition.

Although his injury does not seem serious at the moment, Inter's technical staff is handling the situation with great caution, especially with the highly anticipated derby against Milan approaching after the international break.

The Dutch national team coach explained in the latest press conference that the Dutch full-back is suffering from an issue in his left ankle, which led to his temporary exclusion to preserve his safety, especially since the national team is very close to securing qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
