Sevilla Monitors Real Madrid Defender for Signing
Tuesday 30-12-2025
The website 'Fichajes' reported that Sevilla has shown interest in signing left-back Fran Garcia from Real Madrid, who has not participated regularly this season following the arrival of Álvaro Carreiras to the team.

Garcia, 26 years old, is facing a difficult period after his primary role has diminished, making the idea of his departure from Real Madrid plausible, and Carreiras' arrival is considered the end of Garcia's natural path as a starting player on the left side of the team.

Real Madrid is contemplating the possibility of selling the player during the upcoming summer transfer window, with the estimated value of the deal around 30 million euros.

For his part, Garcia is striving to maintain his level among elite clubs while ensuring enough playing minutes, which may make negotiating the best solution for both parties necessary.

Sevilla remains one of the clubs most interested in signing him to strengthen the left side, and a loan with a non-mandatory purchase option may be considered due to the difficulty of the Andalusian club to bear the required price.

Clubs from the English league have also shown interest in the player, but he prefers to stay in La Liga if he is provided with sporting guarantees.

Real Madrid, Garcia, and Sevilla are all watching the summer market to determine whether the player will remain as an alternative option or leave to ensure a starting role and regain his place on the pitch.
