An influential figure from Al-Ahli has begun intensive efforts to resolve the ongoing dispute between Al-Ahli and Al-Fateh regarding the transfer of international striker Firas Al-Buraikan, in an attempt to settle the matter amicably before any official decisions are made.

Reports have revealed that the Al-Ahly figure has strong relationships with the officials of both clubs and is currently working to bridge the gap between the two sides to resolve the crisis amicably without resorting to lengthy legal procedures.

The Al-Fateh Club had filed an official complaint against Al-Ahli with the Sports Arbitration Center, based on Article 26/6 of the Professional Regulations, due to the latter's contract with Feras Al-Breikan, which they deemed a violation of the rules.

Journalist Ahmed Al-Ajlan mentioned on his account on the platform "X" that the current movements are progressing rapidly in an attempt to resolve the dispute before the arbitration decision is issued, especially with both sides keen on maintaining friendly relations between them.

Sources indicate that the mediation aims to find a solution that satisfies both parties and avoids escalating the issue, especially since the player is considered one of the key pillars in Al Ahly's lineup since his transfer from Al Fateh.

It is noted that the delay in resolving the case is due to the slow procedures within the Professional Committee and the players' conditions, despite the fact that the transfer deal of Feras Al-Buraikan to Al-Ahli was completed more than two years ago.
