Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr continue their serious efforts to snatch the Polish star Robert Lewandowski, the striker for FC Barcelona, during the upcoming season, despite the failed attempts last summer to convince him to move to the Saudi league.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" confirmed that the Saudi parties are still holding on to the idea of bringing in the veteran striker, after he rejected a massive offer worth approximately 100 million euros made by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.

The newspaper explained that Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr remain among the top clubs interested in signing the player, especially after his impressive performance recently with Barcelona, where he scored a hat-trick against Celta Vigo in La Liga.

Reports indicate that Lewandowski, who is 37 years old, is considering his future options between continuing at Barcelona or embarking on a new experience, with interest from both Italian club AC Milan and Turkish club Fenerbahçe in signing him.

On the other hand, sources close to the player confirm that his final decision has not yet been made, while Saudi clubs are preparing to make an enhanced offer that matches his significant technical and commercial value in the world of football.

It is worth noting that previous rumors spoke of Lewandowski's intention to retire at the end of the current season if he does not renew his contract with Barcelona, however, his agent, Pini Zahavi, denied those reports, emphasizing that the player will continue on the pitch in the future.
