The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that the Zamalek administration wants to keep goalkeeper Mohamed Awad as part of the team's roster.
A source from Zamalek Club told the newspaper that Hussein Labib, the club president, advised John Edward to keep Awwad, as he is considered the second goalkeeper on the team. The white team is participating in multiple tournaments this season, and all scenarios for the upcoming period should be considered.
He added that John Edward welcomed Awaad's continued presence within the ranks of the white team.
It is noted that the player has received several offers recently, but he insisted on staying with Zamalek.
