Torab Wants to Sign Diabate from Jais
The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Youssef Torab, the coach of Al Ahly, has given the club the green light to sign Ivorian striker Ibrahim Diabate from Swedish club Jais in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The newspaper reported that Al Ahly's management will not pay more than 1.5 million dollars, in addition to an annual salary of 1 million dollars, which will increase by 100,000 each season, with the contract lasting for three and a half seasons starting from next January.
The newspaper added that Al Ahly will reconsider completing the deal and the management will turn to negotiating with other players if they discover that the Swedish club or the player is being unreasonable in their financial demands.
Al Ahly is preparing to face its counterpart, Kabylie Youth, on Saturday, November 22, as part of the first round of the group stage in the African Champions League.
