Wednesday 12-11-2025
The Saudi Al-Ahli team is close to regaining their Brazilian star, Galeno Winderson, after he successfully completed his rehabilitation and treatment program during the current international break, which coincided with the national team's camp in Jeddah.

The sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" confirmed that Galeno has fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of recent matches. He is currently undergoing fitness and rehabilitation sessions at the club's facilities, aiming to reach full readiness before the competitions resume.

The coaching staff, led by German coach Matthias Jaissle, is awaiting a detailed medical report from the club's medical team to determine the player's final status regarding participation in the upcoming match against Al-Qadisiyah.

Yaisleh is scheduled to receive the report next Saturday as soon as the team returns to group training, which will determine Galeno's readiness to be included in the starting lineup.

Galeno is considered one of the key players in Al-Ahly's lineup, as the coach relies on him to activate the left flank and create offensive solutions. His anticipated return is seen as a significant boost for the team ahead of the league's resumption.

Al-Ahli is preparing to face Al-Qadisiyah on Friday, November 21, as part of the ninth round of the Roshen Saudi League. In this match, the team aims to strengthen its position in the standings after collecting 16 points from 8 matches.
