The Reason for Excluding Nasser Maher from Egypt's Second National Team

Media personality Khaled El-Ghandour revealed the reason for the exclusion of Nasser Maher, the Zamalek star, from Egypt's second national team that will participate in the Arab Cup.

El-Ghandour stated in televised remarks: "The exclusion of Nasser Maher from the second national team list led by Helmi Toulan is purely for technical reasons, and has nothing to do with what the player recently wrote on his Instagram account or his previous criticism of the first national team's coaching staff led by Hossam Hassan."

He added: "Hossam Hassan did not interfere in the decisions of the second national team's coaching staff, and the selection of the list was entirely made by Helmi Toulan and his assistant staff."

He continued: "The exclusion of Nasser Maher came according to a technical vision from Helmi Toulan, who believes that the national team's playing style does not currently match the player's style, confirming that the head coach is content with the group he started working with, and that changes in his list will be minimal in the upcoming period."
