Reports have revealed that AC Milan is trying to persuade Polish striker Robert Lewandowski to join the club following his anticipated departure from Barcelona at the end of the current season.

According to media reports, the club is planning to hold new meetings with the player's agents in the coming weeks to lay the groundwork for the anticipated deal.

Sources indicated that the Milan sports project has caught Lewandowski's interest, as preliminary contacts between the two parties have recently taken place. A meeting is scheduled with his agent, Pini Zahavi, to discuss the possibility of reaching a financial offer that aligns with the capabilities of the Italian club.

The Polish star confirmed in press statements that he is not thinking about his future at the moment and is focusing on his season with the Catalan club.
