Bento Approaches Transfer to Milan Amid Close Monitoring by Inter and Milan
Tuesday 11-11-2025
The Brazilian Bento, goalkeeper for Saudi club Al-Nassr, has become the focus of interest for the two giants of Milan, Inter Milan and AC Milan, as the winter transfer period approaches and the player seeks to embark on a new experience in Europe.

According to media reports, Bento is looking to leave Al-Nassr in the coming months, prompting both Italian clubs to closely monitor the situation, especially in light of their search for alternatives for their key goalkeepers.

Inter Milan is considered the frontrunner to sign him, to replace Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026. Bento has the advantage of holding an Italian passport, which facilitates his registration in Serie A without being counted as a foreign player.

Milan is also closely watching the situation due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future of French goalkeeper Mike Maignan, and Bento is seen as a safe option to replace him if the club fails to renew his contract next summer, especially after his impressive performances with Al-Nassr.

Since joining Al-Nassr in August 2024 from Atletico Paranaense for 12 million euros, Bento has played 54 matches in all competitions, keeping 25 clean sheets, with a successful save rate of 78.6% and conceding 0.9 goals per match, along with 4 successful penalty saves.

Thanks to his international experience with the Brazilian national team and his success in the Saudi league, Bento seems poised for a second European experience, this time in Italy, where the coming months may witness fierce competition between Inter and Milan for his signature, marking a significant step in his career.
