Imam Ashour Returns to Al Ahly Against Chabab Belouizdad
Informed sources have revealed that Al Ahly Club will regain the services of Imam Ashour, the team's midfielder, during the match against Algerian club Chabab Belouizdad on November 21, as part of the first round of the second group in the African Champions League.
According to sources, Imam Ashour will return to participate with Al Ahly in the match against Kabylie after recovering from his infection with virus A, which he contracted following the match against Enppi on August 14th.
Sources confirmed that coach Yess Torob rejected Imam Ashour's request to participate in the Egyptian Super Cup, in order to ensure he is fully prepared both technically and physically before returning to matches.
It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly Club won against Zamalek with a score of 2-0 last Sunday in the Egyptian Super Cup final, held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE.
