Press sources revealed that the officials of Zamalek Club are inclined to keep Ahmed Abdel Raouf in the position of head coach in the upcoming period, following the dismissal of Yannick Ferreira, due to the financial crisis the club has been facing recently.

According to media sources, there is a division of opinions within Zamalek regarding the identity of the head coach. This comes amid the desire of John Edward, the sporting director, to hire a new foreign coach, while others believe it is essential for Ahmed Abdel-Raouf to continue in the managerial role.

Sources indicated that the most likely direction is for Abdul Raouf to continue in his position, due to the difficulty of hiring a foreign coach as a result of the financial crisis the club is experiencing.
