Minor Injury Temporarily Excludes Al-Shehri from Saudi National Team Training in Jeddah
The Saudi national team resumed its intensive training on Monday evening as part of its preparatory camp held in Jeddah, which will continue until November 18, in preparation for the Arab Cup tournament in Qatar 2025.
The players of the "Green" team conducted their training session at the secondary stadium of King Abdullah Sports City, under the supervision of French coach Hervé Renard, who focused on varying the training segments between physical and tactical aspects to enhance the players' readiness.
The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by drills focused on possession and ball control. The coaching staff then implemented a series of tactical plays that emphasized collective movement and organization of the lines of play, concluding the practice with a scrimmage on half the field.
The attacker Saleh Al-Shehri sustained a minor injury, which was a bruise on his leg, forcing him to leave training and not complete the session. He will undergo a medical examination to determine his readiness to return soon.
In contrast, the duo Yasser Al-Shahrani and Hassan Kaddash joined the national team camp on Monday morning after being officially called up by the coaching staff. They participated in the group training from the very first day, showing clear harmony with the other players.
The Saudi national team is scheduled to continue its preparations on Tuesday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City training ground at 6:30 PM, with the first fifteen minutes open for media to follow the training session.
